HOME > About the Company > Message from the President         METEK KITAMURA has been continuously pursuing the possibility of Electroplating and had developed various surface finishing technology since its establishment in 1918. We had expanded into the field of industrial/commercial equipment, airplane, automobile, electronic parts and products. Some of our developments especially surface finishing of the semi-conductor in the electronic field has now become the de facto standard of this industry. Furthmore, we challenged the productivity improvement by developing fully automatic plating machine and Factory Automation for platin. We provide such design technology of plant/equipment to the customers and always share with them our technological know how. With the idea of �gSupply optimum technology to the needs at their request�h METEK GROUP expanded its operation both in Japan and Overseas. Information network was established to cope swiftly with any worldwide request. We focused on strengthening the seeds oriented R & D organisation with the theme of Application technical development for electronic devices on the basis of our characteristic technology of Electroplating. We have achieved the application technology of the fine PCB Board, Sheet heater, LSI heat sink processing and image sensors. We are trying to expand into the field of electronics/information apparatus, environment related technology, and continue to support the customer�fs technical development from this aspect.
